Sustainability Marketing Analyst

About the Job:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sustainability Marketing and Content Intern to join our team. This multifaceted role will provide valuable experience in the field of sustainability while contributing to various projects and initiatives. The intern will assist with research, engage in marketing activities, create and refine presentations, write reports, and assist with relevant miscellaneous tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create promotional materials, newsletters, whitepapers, blogs, case studies, and other content that highlights our sustainability efforts.
- Develop infographics and marketing collateral to enhance engagement.
- Assist in creating and refining presentations and marketing materials for client pitches/projects.
- Conduct research on sustainability trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to inform project development and reporting.
- Assist in organizing and hosting webinar events, including logistics, content development, and participant engagement.
- Conduct sustainability initiatives and awareness programs.
- Support internal and external communications regarding sustainability initiatives, ensuring clear messaging and branding.
- Contribute to team brainstorming sessions focused on developing innovative ideas for both internal and external sustainability initiatives and projects.
- Strategize and plan a series of topics, and identify niche areas or directions to gain maximum engagement.
- Develop reports and presentations periodically depending on project requirements.
- Prepare a comprehensive sustainability marketing content package.
- Develop in-depth case studies and whitepapers.
- Plan and execute sustainability marketing campaigns.
Desired Skills:
- Has a keen understanding of key environmental issues, sustainable practices, and their impacts on communities and ecosystems.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and techniques is highly desired.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to create clear and compelling content for various audiences.
- Ability to convey complex sustainability concepts in an accessible and engaging manner.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Passionate about environmental and social issues and dedicated to making a difference.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Environmental Science, Sustainability Management, Communications or a relevant MBA.
